The Y is one of the nation’s leading 501 C 3 nonprofits committed to strengthening communities in the areas of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn and grow. The Y welcomes all who wish to participate and believes that no one should be denied access to the Y based on their ability to pay. Through our Financial Assistance Program, the YMCA of Coastal Carolina provides assistance to youth, adults, and families based on individual needs and circumstances.
