Chatham 360: Pretrial Release & Diversion Programs

Chatham 360 is a Diversion Program that provides members of our community with counseling and psycho-educational services to reduce further involvement in the justice system. This is a new initiative in Chatham County to support our youth and young adults being charged with various offenses. The First-Time Offenders Program, also offered through Chatham 360, provides first-time drug offenders an opportunity at diversion. Defendants must complete treatment based on their charges. Treatment can range from six months for misdemeanor charges to 10-12 months for felony charges. If successfully completed, defendants are eligible to have their cases reduced or dismissed by the District Attorney’s Office. See website for more information and phone numbers.
